This week I will be attending Contact.io in Denver, Colorado. I am expecting to meet some of the top call center and SMS service providers in the lead generation industry. There will be technology leaders and call center owners from all over the world. I expect to learn a great deal from leaders in the industry on how they are reaching and converting prospects. In addition, I expect to have several meetings with publishers that provide leads in the business lending industry. After eight years of providing leads to Merchant cash advance brokers I am constantly on the lookout for new sources that can help my clients
Debt Settlement
As I have mentioned in the past debt settlement is a growing industry and a growing concern within the Merchant cash advance community. When I entered the lead generation industry in 2016, there were two MCA debt settlement companies. Recently every time I open my Instagram, I see another Debt Settlement Ad. Most recently I have been seeing ads from a company called Slate Street Advisors. This company seems to be extremely aggressive in its advertising and its pursuit of clients in the Merchant Cash advance industry. It is important to educate your clients on the risk of debt settlement and stay in communication with them in the event they are having difficulty making payments. These are the times when merchants can be easily swayed by debt settlement companies that are using strong sales teams, and solid technology to reach your customers.
Full Submissions
This is a product that I have not offered in the past. I have not felt comfortable selling a product where I provide Social Security numbers of individuals without their permission. I have had a great deal of clients call me looking for full submissions, and I have not been able to serve them because of this conflict. I have engaged a law firm to research the matter to come up with a solution where I am able to provide my clients with the products that they are asking for while being compliant. I hope to have information shortly on what will be able to offer in the way of full submissions without providing Social Security numbers. If after speaking with my legal team, I’m able to offer this product. I will send updates as soon as possible.
